On-site in Bloomfield, CT
Our client seeks an experienced electromechanical Designer/Drafter to create and modify drawings, models, parts, and assemblies using Creo. This role supports Service Engineering's Design Services group and requires proficiency with Windchill for data and workflow management. The position focuses on packaging for sheet metal, PCB, and electromechanical components, with an expectation to manage multiple tasks, collaborate effectively, and respond to requests in a timely manner.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $37.00 to $42.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and revise detailed drawings, models, and assemblies using Creo.
  • Support design activities for components, assemblies, and packaging solutions.
  • Utilize Windchill to manage document control and workflow processes.
  • Track, update, and communicate project status to management.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards and policies.

Experience Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of relevant electromechanical design and drafting experience.
  • Proficiency with Creo and Windchill Data Management.
  • Demonstrated capability in packaging for sheet metal, PCB, and electromechanical components.
  • Strong creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail orientation with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
