Job description

Job Title: Showroom Sales Consultant    
Location:  Colorado Springs, CO    
Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00/hour    
Hours: 8am-5pm                 

Short Summary:
A Showroom Sales Consultant meets with clients to understand their needs and showcase our product offerings. The Showroom provides a unique experience to our customers where they can get an up close and hands-on look at our product offerings. You will be responsible for working closely with and analyzing customer requests, providing product advice, and creating sales orders with the highest level of comprehensive customer service.

Responsibilities & Duties:    

Primary:    

  • Professionally conduct organized customer consultations providing product knowledge, advice, and unique plumbing solutions based on customers’ expectations
  • Interact with homeowners, plumbers, builders, designers, and other trade professionals while being sensitive to each of their individual needs
  • Create quotes, process sales orders, and coordinate product delivery based on the project’s schedule
  • Administer the highest level of comprehensive customer service by answering customer questions and promptly troubleshooting issues while presenting a professional image, to include conduct and dress, in alignment with Rampart’s values
  • Collaborate with Purchasing for unique product, ordering, or job requirements
  • Answer customer phone calls, qualify leads, and follow up on opportunities
  • Operate ethically in accordance with Rampart’s established systems, policies and procedures
  • Support team members in daily business activities

As Required:    

  • Ensure warranty requirements and responsibilities are understood by the customer
  • Courteously handle customer returns
  • Maintain currency on product and technical knowledge as well as current construction trends
  • Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:    

  • 3+ years of Sales, Interior Design, Plumbing, and/or Customer Service experience. 
  • Ability to develop in-depth product knowledge of plumbing products 
  • Understanding of aesthetics involved in design for the plumbing of residential homes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skill
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned projects
  • Customer service skills
