Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Request and follow up for legal documents from courts and clients
  • Draft legal documents for attorney review including motions and supporting affidavits
  • Support the Firm Attorneys with general Legal administrative tasks
  • Review dockets and public records for case progress and filings
  • Handling Original Documents for redaction & filing with the court
  • Print Judgment packages to prepare for shipping to the court via FedEx
  • Print and send requests via FedEx for Municipal Lien Certificates, Mortgage Certificates and Mennonite Notices.
  • Other duties, as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a legal support role or administrative position.
  • Legal experience in the foreclosure field is desired
  • Ability to work in high volume, fast passed environment
  • Ability and willingness to assist other teams, when needed
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, be detail-orientated and highly productive
  • PC proficiency, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Must have a Positive attitude


Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift and overtime as needed.
  • Monday to Friday
