Job description

The Office Assistant is an entry level position in the Firm. The role consists of supporting the paralegals and attorneys in various tasks, including submitting documents to the state’s electronic filing portal online.

The successful candidate will be organized, diligent and able to prioritize a diverse and high volume workload. Attention to detail is critical.

Daily activities include:

· Reviewing signed documents for completion

· Uploading documents to the state or county portal

· Noting the case management system

· Timely responding to emails and other correspondence from team members.

· Process incoming and outgoing mail

No previous legal experience is required. Administrative support experience is preferred.

The successful candidate will:

· Be able to work in the office full time with reliable transportation.

· Have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe pdf

· Have a high school diploma or equivalent
