THE JOB

Landmark Credit Union Live is seeking crew to join our Rockstar Team! The Security team plays a key role in venue safety and guest services during our concert season. Security screens guests, monitors venue access, and ensures a fun and safe concert environment for all by upholding venue policies. Security will operate metal detector equipment and other equipment as needed. This is a part-time position.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Responsible for the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
  • Operate walkthrough metal detecting devices and hand wands to screen individuals and check bags, preventing passage of prohibited articles into the venue.
  • Conduct patrols of the building on a regular basis. Respond to all security & safety related calls in a timely manner. Exhibit exemplary conduct & appearance while on duty.
  • Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
  • Greet guests, answer guest questions, assist guests with navigating the venue
  • Comply with & adhere to all the department's performance, conduct & attendance standards.
  • Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Comply with all the legal & ethical instructions given by the Security Supervisors on duty and the Manager of Security.
  • Adhere to the Security department's policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and compile accurate incident reports.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by the Security Supervisors and/or the Manager of Security.
  • Interact with patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue; uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
  • Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without the loss of composure.
  • Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
  • Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intensely aggravated circumstances.
  • Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp and drag.
