This role will help shape the future of consumer credit administration by ensuring sound underwriting practices, strong portfolio performance, and effective risk management strategies that support sustainable growth.

As the Consumer Credit Administrator, you will partner closely with Consumer Lending, Risk, Finance, and Operations leaders to align credit policy, pricing, and risk strategies with business objectives while maintaining strong credit quality standards. Exercises sound judgment when reviewing complex credit requests and policy exceptions and effectively influences lending and decisioning strategies across the organization.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Possesses exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide meaningful recommendations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, build strong partnerships, and influence decision-making at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Experience & Education: Five or more years of consumer lending, credit risk, or credit administration experience. Experience managing or influencing consumer credit policy and portfolio performance. Strong knowledge of consumer lending regulations and compliance requirements. Experience with consumer direct lending, indirect lending, unsecured lending, and credit card portfolios. Familiarity with automated underwriting systems and credit decisioning tools. Bachelor1s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications or advanced education are a plus.

Ways we'll appreciate you:

  • A collaborative and positive workplace culture
  • Initial and on-going support, training and mentorship with promotion opportunities
  • Competitive wages, bonuses, paid holidays and paid time off
  • 100% credit-union-paid employee coverage for medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; dependent coverage also available
  • 401k Plan with an amazingly generous credit union match!
  • Tax-saving Flexible Spending and Health Savings Plans
  • Premier membership perks, loan discounts, company clothing, wellness and recognition programs
