Tasks

Position overview

This intern in this position will spend 12 months supporting the operations of the PFS Credit Services. During this time, the intern will be tasked with a broad array of responsibilities and projects, gaining key insights into the role the Credit Services team plays within the broader captive finance company.

The intern will also support the attainment of Credit Services objectives for all brands (Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti) processes for the U.S. and Canada through the administration and implementation of reports, audit documentation, product/business analysis, and project management support.

The PFS Credit Services internship is designed to provide candidates with the opportunity to apply their technical and strategic knowledge and expertise in a real-world environment.

This is a 12-month, full-time internship requiring a minimum of two in-office days per week. The role is planned for a duration from August 2026 through August 2027. The hourly range for this role is $18/hr-$20/hr.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Support and prepare presentations for committee meetings and associated analyses.
  • Assist with daily/month-end Credit Services reporting
  • Assist with ad-hoc data query and analysis requests to assist various PFS departments.
  • Assist in the creation of crucial PFS Credit Services audit documentation and gathering.
  • Provide project management support as required on PFS Credit Service projects, including testing and project documentation.
  • Support business case development and financial evaluation of strategic business initiatives.
  • Assist in basic system configuration i.e High Risk Database entries, standard rule maintenance, and vehicle data uploading.
Qualifications

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • In process of achieving higher level education.
  • Advanced proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills (fluency in English required).
  • Strong analytical skills with focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Expertise in data analysis skills (experience with Microsoft SQL Server, VBA, or other database/BI tools required).

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with captive finance company or within auto industry is a plus.
  • Aptitude and willingness to work with new software is necessary.

Schedule/Shift: Hybrid 40 Hours per Week

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
