In Risk Management Product, we are on a mission to transform risk management with technology.
The PFE (Potential Future Exposure) platform computes forward-looking credit exposure across interest rate, FX, and commodity asset classes for Capital One''s trading desks - as part of managing Market, Liquidity, and Credit Risk. The teamโ€™s primary focus is delivering high quality daily and intraday regulatory reports while in parallel improving the platform - closing capability gaps, improving reporting and automation, and setting the business up for its next phase of growth.
As a Product Lead on the PFE team, you''ll be responsible for:
  • Collaborating closely with business and engineering stakeholders to surface requirements and align on expectations
  • Partnering with the tech lead to define and own the product roadmap, translating engineering input and stakeholder pain points into a prioritized plan
  • Breaking down opportunity areas โ€” upstream data quality, model risk testing, reporting UX, and code modernization โ€” into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Driving day-to-day backlog prioritization and sprint ceremonies alongside the engineering team
  • Identifying and closing gaps in automation, compliance readiness, and platform standardization as the migration completes
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for requests and escalations, managing communication and expectation-setting across business
