What You'll Doย 

As the Associate Registrar, you'll support the daily operations of the Registrar's Office while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of academic records. You'll partner with teams across the university to deliver outstanding service and maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.ย 


Responsibilities include:ย 

  • Support student registration, scheduling, classroom assignments, and academic records management. ย 
  • Maintain accurate student records throughout the student lifecycle. ย 
  • Process transfer credit evaluations, attendance, grades, degree completion, and enrollment verifications. ย 
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA and institutional academic policies. ย 
  • Generate and analyze reports, including attendance, final grades, high-risk student reports, and other operational metrics. ย 
  • Partner with Admissions, Academic Affairs, Student Success, Financial Aid, and other departments to provide a seamless student experience. ย 
  • Identify opportunities to improve registrar processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risk. ย 
  • Assist with audits, accreditation activities, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. ย 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff while balancing accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness. ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. ย

Requirements

ย Minimum Qualificationsย 

  • Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. ย 
  • Two (2) or more years of progressively responsible experience in a college or university Registrar's Office required. ย 
  • Experience supporting one or more registrar functions such as student records, registration, scheduling, degree audits, graduation, transfer credit evaluation, or academic records management. ย 
  • Working knowledge of FERPA and higher education academic policies and compliance requirements. ย 
  • Experience using a Student Information System (SIS); experience with modern higher education technology platforms preferred. ย 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. ย 
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and consistently apply institutional policies while exercising sound judgment. ย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset. ย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel. ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ย
