Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Officer for its Wilmington, Delaware location.
Duties: Perform quantitative and statistical analyses to identify high-risk pockets and emerging risks. Design credit tests and develop underwriting and line assignment strategies. Develop framework for portfolio risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance in credit card products, and recommend requisite strategies for tightening and expansion within risk appetite. Develop analytical insights and reporting to measure and monitor acquisition performance, interpret trends, and explain key drivers to leadership team. Ensure flawless timely execution of robust compliant policies. Evaluate partnerships based on understanding of cards and lending profit and losses dynamics. Leverage knowledge of applicable credit policies and industry regulations, and analyze impact of those governance elements to product initiatives. Utilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses, including profiling, sampling, forecasting, and new program due diligence. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Credit Risk Analyst, Data Analyst, Risk Manager, or related position involving quantitative and statistical analyses for risk management. 5 years of experience must include: Credit risk management; Underwriting and line management strategy development; Statistical analysis and quantitative analytics; Behavioral segmentations; Predictive power and model stability validation; Automation of reporting; Profit and loss analysis; and SAS, SQL, Tableau, Unix.
