COMMERCIAL CREDIT ANALYST - Waite Park, MN

The Credit Analyst position conducts thorough financial analysis on clients focusing on their character, capacity, capital, collateral and conditions. This role involves preparing credit presentations for new requests, changed requests and annual due diligence. The Credit Analyst assists to ensure that loan risk rating and credit quality standards are adhered to.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete clear, detailed credit presentations that summarize borrower’s financial condition. Makes recommendations tied to analysis to loan officers, loan committee, and/or credit management committee.
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents to assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants and existing clients.
  • Investigate and gather information about clients.
  • Complete the underwriting function and the recommendation of the credit risk rating of existing and prospective clients. Seeks guidance from Supervisor and/or Credit Analyst II as needed.
  • Support the achievement of organizational and individual team member success through the timely completion of various reports and projects and willingness to adapt to change.

** Essential Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Four-year degree in Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years commercial credit underwriting experience.

** Expected Salary:** Starting at $58,000+ annually. Compensation will be commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated abilities.
