As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Credentials in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, trailers, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
