Clinical Credentialing Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Clinical Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining current and complete
records of all clinical sites, preceptor, and student clinical compliance for the clinical practicum
while maintaining a high level of customer service to students, clinical sites, preceptors, and
other FNU faculty and staff.
Supervisor Responsibility:
No supervisory responsibility
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be knowledgeable in and adhere to policies and procedures per institutional, state, and
federal regulations.
• Assist students, preceptors, and clinical sites with credentialing requirements.
• Notify the Director of Clinical Credentialing of concerns, changes, and updates regarding
credentialing and compliance issues.
• Ensure customer-focused, high-quality service to students and other university
employees.
• Respond to student and faculty correspondence as soon as time permits and at least
within the FNU Communication policy established timeframe.
• Collect necessary information from students regarding their clinical plan and oversee
completing all requirements before the student's clinical practicum.
• Obtain, evaluate, and manage all preceptor requirements, including, but not limited to,
work history and license/certification verification.
• Obtain, evaluate, and manage all clinical site requirements, including affiliation
agreements and insurance verifications.
• Collaborate with clinical faculty regarding student clinical credentialing needs, progress,
and issues.
• Ensure student onboarding is complete according to affiliation agreement standards.
Submit reports as scheduled and requested by the Director of Clinical Credentialing.
• Travel to campus and other locations as needed.
• Provide service to the University through activities such as involvement in FNU shared
governance (e.g. committees, workgroups), FNU sponsored activities (e.g. charity
drives, community-outreach activities), and/or service to the profession (e.g.
presentations, professional organization committee work).
• Adhere to the elements of the Culture of Caring
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent computer and communication skills,
• Preferred experience with Google apps
• Ability to complete efficient Internet searches
• Ability to communicate in a virtual environment
• Knowledge of database software
• Ability to organize details on an ongoing basis
• Ability to work as a member of an efficient and productive team
Education and Experience:
Associates degree with related work experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
Be able to sit for long periods.
Reporting Relationship
This position reports directly to the Director of Clinical Credentialing.

Eligible for Hybrid telecommute agreement after 30 days of employment.
