With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, Dermalogica has been at the forefront of the skincare industry for over three decades. Bolstered by our International Dermal Institute – the apex of post-graduate skin and body therapy training – we are on an exhilarating journey of expansion. And you could be a part of this adventure!

The challenge is to build on the legacy of our brand, our experienced team and our industry leading education to deliver profitable growth. One of the key elements for our success, and critical for our growth, is bringing in the right people to join our team. We invite you to come and make a difference and grow your career with the global leader in skin care.

Engagement is what earns media, and this role is its day-to-day driver. As the Community Engagement Coordinator, you own the conversation across Dermalogica PRO’s social channels: responding to DMs and comments, listening across the community, and amplifying advocate content so our audience stays engaged and Dermalogica Earned Media Value (EMV) grows. You're the brand's real-time voice in the professional community with a focus on driving the engagement tha

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day community engagement: responding to DMs, comments, and inquiries across PRO social channels in a timely, on-brand voice, and fostering positive, real-time conversation where the community lives.
  • Design and run community challenges, contests, and giveaways that prompt advocates and followers to create and share content, turning participation into earned posts and measurable EMV growth.
  • Own an always-on engagement calendar of recurring series, prompts, polls, Q&As, and interactive Stories that keeps the community active and posting between campaigns.
  • Monitor conversations and mentions through social listening; flag opportunities, issues, and top-performing advocate content to the team.
  • Source user-generated content (UGC) and coordinate reposting and amplification with the content and community teams.
  • Analyze and report the voice of the community: recurring questions, sentiment, and themes from conversations, to sharpen what we create and who we engage.
  • Track and analyze the engagement results of your work against Dermalogica’s EMV goals and share what’s resonating with the Earned Social, content, and discovery/nurture teams to improve performance.
  • Maintain a consistent, on-brand community voice and response approach across channels.

Key Collaborators:

  • Senior Manager, Earned Social
  • Community Partnerships Coordinator
  • Manager, Community
  • Consumer Community & Organic Social Teams

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in a community management, social media, or influencer marketing role.
  • Strong writing and a knack for on-brand, real-time community conversation.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and growing social communities; affinity for the professional skincare audience strongly preferred.
  • Comfort with data and social analytics; able to track and interpret engagement and EMV results in CreatorIQ, Dash Hudson, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of independence and resilience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Proactive self-starter; resourceful, creative problem solver with an analytical, trend-aware mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with an excitement for learning and openness to new experiences and challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred.
  • Proficient use of CreatorIQ, Dash Hudson, and other social and influencer marketing platforms

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Monthly Product Allowances
  • Annual Fitness Reimbursement
  • 401(k) plus company matching
  • Life/Accident/Disability insurance
  • Wellness programs
  • Paid family leave
  • Domestic partner benefits
  • Education/training programs
  • Thrive in a hybrid work environment (3 days in office)

The expected base salary for this position is $24-26/hr. The exact base pay rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
