ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior Brand Manager at DS+CO, you’ll work independently and collaboratively to deliver exceptional experiences for clients and agency teams alike. You’ll help shape and implement marketing and brand strategies while serving as a trusted day-to-day partner across projects, campaigns, and ongoing client relationships.

This role blends client leadership, project management, and strategic thinking. You’ll work across agency disciplines to move work forward, uncover new opportunities for partnership, and ensure projects are delivered with clarity, organization, and strong communication.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients through responsiveness, communication, and follow through
  • Support tier 1 and tier 2 client accounts in partnership with brand leadership team members
  • Lead conversations with clients about projects, timelines, questions, and agency processes
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand agency partnership opportunities
  • Deliver a thoughtful, organized, and high quality client experience across engagements

Campaign Execution and Project Management

  • Gather client input and manage projects from assignment through execution using agency tools and processes
  • Develop project and creative briefs that clearly align teams around goals and deliverables
  • Organize and manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines simultaneously
  • Prepare billing and support intake and tracking of projects within agency systems
  • Manage client budgets and support communications related to project spend stewardship
  • Input project details, client feedback, and direction into project management platforms including Jira
  • Recognize when project standards, timelines, or expectations may not be met and communicate proactively

Marketing and Brand Strategy

  • Build knowledge of client businesses, audiences, goals, and marketing strategies to support stronger work
  • Write clear, compelling creative and project briefs
  • Stay informed on industry trends and client news that may inform marketing opportunities or creative direction
  • Review and support the development of marketing plans and strategic initiatives

Business Acumen and Internal Collaboration

  • Build relationships across agency teams and capabilities to support collaboration and execution
  • Support staffing plans and scoping requirements for assigned projects and clients
  • Build knowledge of agency capabilities, disciplines, and case studies from briefing through delivery

Requirements:

Must have:

  • 5–8 years of experience in marketing, brand management, account management, or project management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and client relationships simultaneously
  • Ability to develop briefs, manage timelines, and coordinate work across teams
  • Understanding of marketing strategy, campaign development, and project execution
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and project management or collaboration tools
  • Sound business judgment and comfort managing budgets, timelines, and project details
  • A collaborative mindset with curiosity, accountability, and strong organizational skills
