Job Description
We are seeking Architecture students and graduates will be supervised by a registered architect and qualify for hours for the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP). This internship will run from January 2027 to August 2027.
As an Advisory Intern, you will work with a team of experts to analyze the numbers and provide unparalleled client service.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Experience development of standard documents to support future proposal development and presentations.
  • Update as many Project Experience pages provided to match the new corporate standard.
  • Participate in at least one actual proposal development process based on a new project pursuit.
  • Analyzation: Compare Project Experience Pages against new corporate standard to identify information needed.
  • Research: Seek the required data/information/stories needed through project files, online research, and interviewing team members, and update the Project Experience Pages.
  • Development: Collaborate with project managers to collect and refine quantitative and qualitative data into easily readable content for the one-page Project Experience Pages, including development of copy and graphics. Initially, your supervisor will help develop a standard set of questions to use when interviewing Project Managers for content. Marketing Intern will be required to write some new copy for the new Project Experience Pages, which will then be reviewed by Supervisor for final inclusion.
  • Reporting: Based on the master list of Project Experience pages provided, Marketing Intern will be responsible to track and report on Project Experience Page progress weekly to supervisor via a 30 minute virtual meeting and a written update.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Graphic support for other projects, if needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or an Engineering discipline such as Structural, Civil, Electrical, MEP etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Advanced skills preferred, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • 0-4 years experience with engineering or construction firms, or a construction claim/dispute firm.
  • Excellent communication, mathematical and organizational skills
  • Strong investigating, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., Adobe, InDesign, Word, Etc.)
  • Willingness to seek and understand data/information/stories and turn them into content for use in marketing materials.
  • Ability to find creative ways to tell an overall project story in a one-page format.
  • We are looking for someone who works well in a team environment and is self-motivated.

  • Must be able to work in person in our Indianapolis, IN office on a hybrid schedule.
