Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary:
As the Associate Creative Director, Copy for Style Social, you’ll be responsible for leading the social-first creative for Walmart Style content across fashion, beauty, and home.
Partnering with your ACD (Art) you’ll shape ideas that resonate culturally, drive conversation, and elevate Walmart as a Style destination. You’ll guide and mentor a Senior Copywriter ensuring the brand’s voice feels both aspirational and authentically Walmart. Additionally, you’ll bring a blend of leadership skills and hands-on expertise to the table. The ideal candidate has an eye for storytelling in social, a passion for culture, trends, and experience in fashion, lifestyle, or beauty.

The Creative team leads the development and execution of innovative content that elevates Walmart’s brand across multiple channels. Collaborating closely with marketing, production, and category partners, the team drives culturally relevant storytelling and strategic creative solutions. Members are committed to delivering high-quality work aligned with business goals while fostering continuous learning and adaptability. The team values strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent brand voice and impactful customer engagement. Together, they advance Walmart’s creative vision with integrity, strategic insight, and a focus on excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Lead concept development and copy direction for Style Social content across social platforms including Instagram and Pinterest.
  • Write and oversee compelling, socially fluent copy that elevates Walmart Style and connects with fashion, beauty, and home audiences.
  • Partner with your ACD (Art) to create insight-driven ideas that translate seamlessly from concept through production and post.
  • Guide messaging across campaigns to ensure storytelling is strategic, relevant, and engaging on social.
  • Stay deeply attuned to cultural trends that influence tone, humor, and storytelling in social spaces.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience as an Associate Creative Director or similar role in an agency or in-house creative environment.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates brand social-first content across fashion, beauty or home.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, storytelling, and cultural trends.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of mentoring creative talent.
  • Deep understanding of brand storytelling, customer insights, and creative strategy.
  • Proficiency in key creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Microsoft Office, Slack).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a writer in related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Creative Writing, or related field preferred.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
