Job Description:
Job Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Technical Writer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for writing/editing outbound marketing materials, including but not limited to product datasheets, application notes, reference designs, articles for magazine submissions, website copy, etc. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent editing and writing skills, and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. This person will work with an experienced team across nearby and worldwide offices to polish and create content for publication.
This is a 6-month temporary position with the opportunity to extend or convert to a permanent full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Edit, write, and create technical documents, articles, etc. applicable to semiconductor industry standards and in-house style guide
  • Write and edit articles for top industry publications, and support creation and editing of marketing materials (e.g. event materials, website copy, email newsletters, video scripts, etc.)
  • Translate technical information into offline and online materials for non-technical and technical users
  • Prioritize various editorial projects and communicate/negotiate deadlines with relevant stakeholders
  • Act as a primary keeper of our brand voice - overseeing tone, messaging, and brand alignment on every initiative you touch
  • Support the marketing content lifecycle from intake to publication, using project management tools to manage reviews and stakeholder feedback
  • Work with various departments to create meaningful and consistent messages for customers
  • Ensure documentation conforms to the company's quality and assurance standards
  • Conduct interviews to gather data
  • Update, contribute to, and implement internal documentation communication templates and processes, including datasheets, application notes, PowerPoints, etc.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or other relevant field
  • Technical writing experience strongly preferred, experience in electronics engineering a plus
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The target hiring range for this position is $31/hour - $38/hour.
