Job description

Over 160 stores, 16,000 employees, 120 years' experience: at the international fashion company Peek & Cloppenburg*, with its headquarters in Vienna and Dusseldorf, traditional family values meet a dynamic industry. For us, fashion isn't just a product - it's our common language. Here, you're not just an employee - you become part of our community. A fashion community in which you can live doing what you love. Let's create the future of retail. Together.

As an affiliated company of Peek & Cloppenburg* B.V. & Co. KG Dusseldorf, JC Brand AG is at the heart of the group's new private label strategy. Together, we are creating a dynamic, creative private label organization that combines the brand DNA of Peek & Cloppenburg* Dusseldorf with fresh ideas, market trends, and entrepreneurial spirit.

*There are two independent companies Peek & Cloppenburg with their headquarters in Dusseldorf and Hamburg. This advertisement refers to the Dusseldorf group of companies, whose store locations you can find here: peek-cloppenburg.de/de/stores.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Strategy & business partnering: You translate our overarching sustainability strategy into actionable initiatives, advise core business teams, and lead interactive workshops for Sourcing and Design.

Compliance & certification management: You independently plan and execute external audits, manage brand licenses, and build chain-of-custody systems to guarantee complete traceability for sustainable materials.

Supply chain responsibility: You guide creative teams on sustainable materials and labels, manage eco-friendly packaging projects, and conduct supplier risk assessments to safeguard our standards.

Targeted climate action: You support supplier climate surveys to track and systematically reduce the carbon footprint across our entire supply chain.

Digital project integration: You drive key future projects by integrating sustainability requirements into new PLM and ERP systems, defining data governance for KPI reporting, and preparing the Digital Product Passport.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your educational path: You have successfully completed a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Textile Technology, Business Administration, or a related field that provides You with a solid technical foundation.

Your strengths: You bring strong project management capabilities, strategic analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills. You love facilitating workshops, building bridges between diverse departments, and turning complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions.

Your profile: You bring 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability, certification management (such as GRS, RWS, or OEKO-TEX), and supply chain traceability, ideally within the fashion or retail industry. You are experienced with systems like PLM/ERP or Digital Product Passports, speak fluent Spanish, and communicate with very good English skills.

WHAT WE OFFER

Room to Grow: Be part of an exciting new chapter from day one. In our Madrid design hub, your ideas and creativity will have a direct impact and help shape the future of our brand.

Start-Up Spirit, Strong Foundation: Experience the energy and flexibility of a start-up environment supported by the stability, structure, and reach of one of Europe's leading fashion groups.
