Job description

Position Purpose:
The Manager Visual Communications is responsible for leading and managing projects associated with video, broadcast, and audio production. The Manager Visual Communications will collaborate with business partners within the organization to identify visual communications content needs in order to develop and produce solutions that will drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 10% Collaboration - Partner with Creative Studio/HDTV team to assist with creative brainstorming and collaboration
  • 30% Delegation - Assigning, managing, and overseeing contract producers/production companies to complete projects
  • 10% Guidance - Providing creative direction on production approaches, concepts, and delivery strategies to meet the needs of the project
  • 20% Partnership - Partnering with internal clients to identify communication goals and strategies. Communicate with client throughout the process, providing updates and managing expectations
  • 30% Production - Producing and leading video and broadcast projects, including planning, logistics, writing, directing, and editing

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • This position typically reports to Director, Creative Studio/HDTV

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

  • A degree in Video Production, Communications, or Broadcast/Television and or equivalent experience in a Production/Broadcast environment
  • Experience in both people & project management
  • Ability to work directly with Senior Executives

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
