What We Seek...
Britten is seeking a full-time Specialty Contracting Project Manager to join our BoxPop division. This role is responsible for overseeing custom projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budgets. Prior experience in construction project management is highly preferred.
Job Summary and Job Functions
  • Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for the utilization of resources
  • Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing and ensuring safety standards and quality standards are maintained
  • Coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects
  • Oversees performance of employees work on the project, specifically related to time and labor
  • Works cooperatively with the Industrial Design team to review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed
  • Is responsible for the proper administration of all necessary agreements and paperwork
  • Tracks and controls the project schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within allocated time and budget
  • Reports to the Executive Vice President of Specialty Contracting, CEO and owner on progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated
  • Plans, implements, and tracks closeout/turnover of the projects
  • Conducts project meetings
  • Manages day-to-day customer interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, and project costs
  • Manages to and achieves revenue goals set for projects
  • Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting through company software
  • Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken
