Zions Bancorporation's Cross-Affiliate Marketing team is seeking a Delivery Product Owner (Marketing) to join Zions Bancorporation. The Marketing Delivery Product Owner plays a key role in defining and executing the continuous improvement of the company's Marketing Technology stack, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be the bridge between stakeholders, power users, and technical teams, helping to execute the product lifecycle, from high level vision to prioritization and delivery.
The Marketing Delivery Product Owner will:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and roadmap for marketing orchestration, personalization, and customer engagement.
  • Create, own, and manage the product backlog, ensuring features and enhancements are refined, prioritized, and aligned to measurable business value.
  • Oversee and contribute to configuration and optimization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and external platforms, including web-to-lead flows and data pipelines.
  • Support execution and optimization of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement through testing and optimization strategies.
  • Ensure email deliverability, domain health, subscriber management, and compliance with marketing and privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Troubleshoot production issues, improve platform reliability, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks for technical teams.
  • Provide context for, prioritize, and accept work delivered by technical teams, ensuring alignment to product vision and business value.
  • Conduct training sessions, documentation, and office hours to enable and empower platform users.
  • Continuously engage with key stakeholders, building strong relationships and serving as a trusted advisor on MarTech capabilities and best practices.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and technical debt, partnering with leadership to define mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and enhancements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer or business-related discipline (Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or Management, etc.) or Business Analyst experience working in the financial services industry supporting digital initiatives
  • 8+ years of combined experience in product management, marketing technology, or digital platforms within an Agile environment
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Administrator, Consultant)
  • Strong expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL for personalization, segmentation, and data manipulation
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external APIs or data platforms
  • Strong understanding of customer journey orchestration, campaign lifecycle management, and personalization strategies
  • Knowledge of email deliverability, domain management, and subscriber health best practices
  • Experience supporting and scaling high-volume marketing campaigns
  • Experience with Agile frameworks, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries preferred
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements

Salary Range:
This position is eligible to earn an annual base salary as outlined below depending on job-related factors such as level of experience, location, and other job-related factors.
California (San Diego): $110,963- $162,745
Texas (Houston): $105,919- $155,348
Utah (Salt Lake City): $100,875- $147,950
This is an in-office position that will sit at a local corporate hub 5 days a week. This is not a hybrid role.
