Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Director of Brand & Creative Strategy to lead the development and execution of visual storytelling and brand identity across marketing initiatives. This role sits within the broader Marketing function and is responsible for ensuring cohesive, high-quality creative output across campaigns, digital platforms, and community-facing communications.

This individual will serve as a key creative leader, translating organizational priorities into compelling visual narratives while maintaining brand consistency and cultural relevance. The role also partners closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns that support key organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and ongoing evolution of a unified brand identity across marketing channels
  • Oversee creative direction for multi-channel campaigns including recruitment, awareness, and engagement initiatives
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear, compelling creative concepts across digital, print, video, and social platforms
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies and production partners
  • Ensure consistent storytelling and visual alignment across all brand touchpoints
  • Oversee development of photography, video, and campaign creative assets
  • Maintain and organize brand and creative asset libraries for organization-wide use
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support organizational priorities through creative execution
  • Manage project timelines, approvals, and creative workflows across multiple initiatives
  • Support creative development for events, campaigns, and internal communications as needed

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in creative direction, brand strategy, or art direction roles
  • Background in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven environments preferred
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign development and multi-platform creative work
  • Experience managing end-to-end creative projects and external vendors/agencies
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Spanish preferred

Additional Details:

This is a hybrid role based in New York City requiring in-office presence multiple days per week.
