Job description

HelloFresh is looking for a Creative Operations Senior Manager to join our Global Creative Operations team in New York. This role will serve as the operational lead for our fast-growing brands, partnering closely with Marketing, Creative, Production, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns, product launches, and always-on marketing initiatives.

Reporting to the Creative Operations Lead, North America, this role serves as the Creative Operations partner for the HelloFresh portfolio of brands, ensuring successful execution of the brand's strategic marketing initiatives while collaborating with the broader North American Creative Operations organization. The ideal candidate is an exceptional operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings structure to complex initiatives, and continuously identifies opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enable creative teams to do their best work.

You will...Own Creative Operations 

Lead end-to-end operational management across integrated marketing initiatives, overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery from intake through final asset release across digital, print, packaging, video, photography, CRM, and lifecycle marketing.

Lead Strategic Marketing Initiatives

Manage operational delivery for major business priorities including Peak campaigns, product launches, refreshed meal photography, strategic partnerships, packaging initiatives, brand campaigns, and cross-channel marketing programs, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are executed on time.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Serve as the primary Creative Operations partner for Brand Marketing, Creative, Production, Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Packaging, and external agency partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, deliverables, and business objectives.

Resource & Capacity Management

Partner with the Creative Resource Manager and Creative Operations Lead to forecast upcoming work, balance team capacity, identify resourcing risks, and recommend freelance or agency support as business needs evolve.

Drive Operational Excellence

Oversee the end-to-end creative lifecycle across multiple concurrent initiatives while continuously improving workflows, intake processes, project governance, and ways of working to increase speed-to-market and operational efficiency.

Project & Production Leadership

Develop and manage complex integrated project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams through creative development, production, reviews, approvals, and final asset delivery while proactively identifying risks and removing blockers.

Workflow & Systems Optimization

Champion best practices across project management systems and operational tools, driving adoption of standardized processes while identifying opportunities for automation and scalable operational improvements.

Data-Driven Reporting

Build and maintain reporting that provides visibility into project health, team capacity, delivery performance, and operational metrics, enabling informed decision-making across Creative Operations and Marketing leadership.

Continuous Improvement

Lead retrospectives following major campaigns, productions, and launches, documenting learnings and implementing scalable process improvements that strengthen creative operations across the organization.

You have...
  • 6-8 years of experience in Creative Operations, Creative Project Management, or integrated marketing operations, including direct experience managing creative workflows within an in-house creative team, agency, or studio environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives from planning through execution
  • Strong understanding of integrated creative workflows across digital, print, packaging, photography and video production
  • Experience partnering with Marketing, Creative, Production, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong project planning, organizational, prioritization, and risk management skills
  • Experience working within project management platforms such as Airtable, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Workfront, or similar tools
  • Experience using reporting and resource planning tools to support operational decision-making
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
