Job description

Overview

Are you the person people call when they have an idea but don't know how to bring it to life?

Flagger Force is seeking a Brand Creative Specialist to help tell the stories behind one of the nation's leading traffic control companies. This role combines video production, photography, graphic design, creative problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration to support recruiting, employee engagement, executive communications, training, and brand storytelling.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a computer all day creating perfect artwork in a vacuum. Our best creative partners thrive on turning messy ideas into polished solutions, working directly with people across the business, and helping others communicate more effectively.

You'll spend much of your time producing and editing video content, coordinating shoots, capturing photography, creating presentations and branded assets, and helping internal clients bring their ideas to life. One day you may be supporting an executive message, the next helping showcase a crew member's story, documenting a major company initiative, or creating content that supports recruiting and workforce development efforts.

We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. Someone who enjoys collaborating with people, asks thoughtful questions, and takes pride in making projects better than they found them.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong video editing skills, particularly in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience supporting the full production process from planning through final delivery
  • Photography and basic video production knowledge
  • Graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • A professional, collaborative approach and a willingness to learn

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you'll become a trusted creative partner across the organization. Leaders will seek you out because they know you can take an idea, organize it, improve it, and turn it into something people understand and remember.

You'll help strengthen Flagger Force's internal creative capabilities, improve the quality and consistency of our storytelling, and create content that helps employees, clients, recruits, and stakeholders better understand who we are and what we do.

Why Flagger Force?

At Flagger Force, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that impact thousands of employees across a growing organization. You'll collaborate with leaders throughout the company, develop new creative skills, and help shape how one of the industry's most recognized brands communicates and grows.

If you're looking for a role that blends creativity, storytelling, business partnership, and real-world impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support video and photography projects from concept through final delivery, including planning, coordination, editing, review, and file management.
  • Edit video and photography content using Adobe Creative Suite, with strong working knowledge of audio, pacing, captions, platform requirements, and version control.
  • Coordinate shoots, including talent, locations, vendors, schedules, shoot planning, and production logistics.
  • Serve as an on-site creative lead or production support during shoots to ensure required content is captured efficiently and effectively.
  • Capture photography and video content for headshots, internal communications, training materials, social media, and asset library development.
  • Create graphic design assets for internal communications, presentations, social media, signage, print materials, apparel, and other branded needs.
  • Develop and maintain PowerPoint presentations, templates, and multi-page documents for internal and external audiences.
  • Adapt creative assets for use across digital, mobile, print, web, presentation, and social platforms.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify objectives, organize content, identify communication gaps, and develop effective creative solutions.
  • Support print production, vendor management, facility branding, and other brand execution initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables while helping improve creative standards, templates, and asset libraries.
  • Manage multiple projects while balancing quality, speed, deadlines, and changing business priorities.

Other Job Functions

  • Support special projects as assigned by the Brand and Marketing Manager or Marketing Operations Supervisor.
  • Assist with audio editing and production needs, including phone queue recordings, voiceover files, and other internal audio assets.
  • Help organize creative project details in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other project management systems.
  • Support asset organization, file management, version control, and creative archive maintenance.
  • Participate in cross functional team meetings, creative reviews, planning discussions, and project debriefs.
  • Provide occasional writing, copyediting, or content support when needed.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong video editing skills, especially in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Familiarity with the video production process from intake through final delivery.
  • Basic camera, lighting, and audio production knowledge.
  • Ability to coordinate shoots and understand what footage, sound, and supporting visuals will be needed in the edit.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and apple MAC OS.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects preferred.
  • Graphic design skills, especially for branded, practical, business-facing creative work.
  • Strong sense of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, brand consistency, and audience-appropriate design.
  • Ability to work with internal clients to create clean, professional materials from often loosely defined inputs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Practical judgment, curiosity, and willingness to learn new tools or techniques as project needs evolve.
  • Ability to work in a business environment where creative work must support operational, strategic, safety, recruiting, communications, and employee engagement goals.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, video production, communications, media arts, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showing video editing and creative production work required.
  • Graphic design portfolio samples are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, required.
  • Apple MAC OS proficiency.
  • Experience supporting corporate, internal communications, agency, nonprofit, or field-based workforce communications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
