Job description


Location: This is a remote position with occasional travel of up to 25%. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, or Alabama.

Purpose: Oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of company-defined projects to assure the defined scope is achieved. Represent EnovaPremier and serve as point of contact with customers, vendors and suppliers related to projects. Align EnovaPremier's interests with the interests of our customers and suppliers.

  1. Document and manage the implementation of defined projects to assure they remain on schedule and within the defined scope.
  2. Escalate any identified changes to the project scope whether internally or externally generated to assure budgetary concerns and required resources are addressed and approved.
  3. Lead the core project team to assure time, risks, costs, quality and project resources are utilized efficiently.
  4. Attend all customer project meetings and communicate learnings/requirements to the core project team and others to assure implementation of services is geared towards customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor task performance to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  6. Confer with core project team members to identify and resolve problems with escalation as required to achieve resolution.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities for a variety of customers.
  8. Use of program management software as defined.
  9. Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:
3-5 years of project management experience. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus. PMP certification preferred but not required.

Work Environment:
Ability to travel 25%. Able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Analytical Ability:
Strong ability to problem solve.

Communication Ability:
Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, etc…).

Education and Competencies:
Bachelor of Science degree in business, engineering or manufacturing or equivalent experience. Critical Thinking — Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Utilize 8 step thinking.

Management Experience:
Acknowledgement and appreciation of each team member’s contributions are essential. Project management skills a must.

Physical Demands:
Ability to sit/stand 8-10 hours a day.
