TheCEPP Dance Program Manageris a part-time, temporary position responsibleforproject management forprogramsandevents provided through Community Education and Public Programs (CEPP) including but not limited toLet'sDance, High School ChoreographicMentorProgram(HSCMP), Dance talks andotherPublic Programs provided through CEPP.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage timelines andlogisticsfor CEPP events
  • Develop content forCEPPmarketing materials including program flyers,socialmedia,andmonthlynewsletter
  • Update and manage website content for CEPP
  • Managedevelopment of curriculum for HSCMPincludinglogisticsand class schedules
  • Teach and oversee rehearsals forLets Dance/HSCMPwhen needed
  • Manage vendor and partnerinvoices andcontractsas directed by Advancement and CEPP
  • Primary contact for SDP Let's Dance and HSCMP program overseeing and maintaining all district requirements
  • Other job duties asrequired

Supervisory Responsibility:Teaching Artists

Expected Hours of Work:Normal business hours are Monday throughFriday,9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may berequired as duties demand.This position will work a minimum 16 hours/week as scheduled with Supervisor.

Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of theareatravel and overnight may be expected.


Required Education and Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Experience in non-profit performing arts, preferablydance
  • Minimum5 years administrative experience in program management
  • Experience with budgeting and data collection
  • Experience with creative program development
  • Experience as a teaching artist working with children and young adults
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience in event planning, budgeting, vendor contracts,logisticsand project management
  • Experience in developing content for social media, newsletters,and marketing materials
  • Proficient in Microsoft suiteand event planning software
