Gateways to Change is a non-profit agency providing services to adults with developmental and physical disabilities in residential and community settings.

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Direct Support Workers who are striving to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. Help individuals acquire and maintain skills to improve their daily-living, and socialization skills.

  • Provide In-Home and Community Based support to individuals
  • Assist individuals with achieving a variety of goals in the home and local community
  • Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities
  • Assist in toileting, dressing, and hygiene
  • Administration of medication
  • Cultivate safe and supportive relationships
  • Be creative, organized, and efficient
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and bring fun to the job
  • Working independently and with staff

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and existing insurance, registrations & inspection
  • Must provide a criminal background check with no disqualifying offenses
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
