Responsibilities
  • Description of duties and responsibilities:

    • Assist Process Excellence Engineers with workshops, process analysis, and project management
    • Assist Digital Manufacturing Engineers with Kanoa MES maintenance and deployments, OT network set up, and project management
    • Assist Automation Engineers with integrated solutions (robotics, vision systems, controls, andon, pick to light systems) and project management
    • Methods analysis and improvement
    • Process Sequence Flow Mapping and Time Studies
    • Utilize simulation software to analyze current processes
    • Layout work (equipment and work station)
    • Lean, Kaizen, 6S and Value Stream Mapping activities
    • Identify 8 wastes in processes and engage with shop floor associates during improvement activities

Qualifications

Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Basic experience with data analysis, methods and graphing.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with a special emphasis on Excel
