The Creative Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the visual execution of our marketing campaigns, ensuring unwavering brand consistency across all consumer-facing assets, and elevating the creative capabilities of the entire team. This individual will report to the Creative Director of the Strategic Creative Services team and will be responsible for managing a talented group of designers and video editors. In close partnership with project managers, the Creative Manager will ensure that all creative work is completed to a high standard of excellence and delivered on time. This is a full-time position based in our Overland Park, KS office.
What You Will Do:
  • Lead and inspire a team of designers and video editors, providing clear creative and art direction to guide the development of compelling visual content.
  • Regularly review and provide constructive feedback on design and video edits to ensure all creative output is aligned with brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers to effectively manage creative workflows, ensuring that projects are prioritized, resourced, and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a key creative partner to cross-functional teams, translating marketing and business objectives into powerful and effective creative solutions.
  • Champion brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints, from digital advertising and social media to in-store displays and packaging.
  • Mentor and develop the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in design, video production, and creative technology, bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.

Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a creative field, with a proven track record of leading and managing creative teams.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both exceptional creative work and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva, and Figma.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).

Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • A deep understanding of both print and digital design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Experience working in an in-house creative agency or a fast-paced agency environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
