Job description

We're hiring a Performance Creative Strategist to sit at the intersection of creative and media - someone who thinks in hooks, tests hypotheses, and uses data to make better creative decisions.

This role is for someone who:

  • Has a strong creative eye and a performance mindset
  • Obsesses over what makes content stop the scroll and convert
  • Knows how to translate data into a creative brief
  • Experience building diverse UGC pipelines
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment

You'll own the creative strategy layer across paid social, creator-led advertising, and video - working closely with the Director of Growth Marketing, creative studio team, and creators to build and scale what works.

What You'll DoCreative Strategy & Testing
  • Own the creative testing roadmap across Meta, TikTok, CTV, and YouTube
  • Develop hypotheses and structure tests across hooks, formats, narratives, and creative angles
  • Translate performance data into actionable creative briefs for internal teams and creators
  • Identify winning patterns and build frameworks for scaling proven concepts
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, ad formats, and creative benchmarks
Creator & UGC Content
  • Brief, select and guide creators on performance-first content - hooks, pacing, CTAs, messaging
  • Review creator deliverables through a performance lens before they go live
  • Build and maintain a library of winning creative frameworks by creator type, platform, and audience
  • Partner with the Growth Manager to analyze creator performance and identify what scales
Cross-Functional Creative Operations
  • Serve as the connective tissue between growth and brand - ensuring creative output is both on-brand and built to perform
  • Work with creative studio to manage production timelines and ensure assets are ready to test
  • Work with video editors and designers to iterate quickly on top performers
  • Maintain a living creative learnings doc that informs future strategy
Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze creative performance at the hook, format, and narrative level
  • Pull and synthesize data from Meta, TikTok, and YouTube to surface what's working
  • Build and maintain a creative scorecard to track performance across active tests
  • Present findings and recommendations in clear, actionable formats

Requirements

What You Bring
  • 2-4 years of experience in performance creative, creative strategy, or paid social - ideally at a DTC brand or agency
  • Demonstrated ability to write and brief high-performing ad creative
  • Strong analytical instincts - you can read a creative report and know what to do next
  • Experience working with UGC creators and/or influencer-led content
  • Deep familiarity with Meta and TikTok ad formats, creative best practices, and platform nuances
  • Strong written communication - briefs, copy, and internal decks that are clear and sharp
What We're Looking For
  • You think about creative as a performance lever, not just aesthetics
  • You can move from insight to brief to live asset quickly
  • You're as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a creative doc
  • You have strong opinions about what makes content work - and you back them with data
  • You're a clear communicator and a strong cross-functional partner
  • You care about building systems, not just shipping one-off assets
Nice to Have
  • Experience at a health, wellness, or supplement brand
  • Comfort writing short-form ad copy in addition to briefing it
  • Exposure to CTV or YouTube performance creative
  • Strong comfort using AI tools to accelerate creative iteration and research
  • Experience with creator whitelisting and paid amplification workflows

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity
  • Fully-paid health, dental, 401K, and vision insurance
  • Downtown Manhattan office (4 days in office), with flexible work setup and 15 days of PTO
