Job description

Overview:
•         This is a strategic creative leadership role with a strong point of view and the ability to guide teams toward impactful, brand-defining work.
•         The Creative Associate Director provides senior leadership across creative execution, overseeing integrated campaigns, brand expression, sales excellence, events, motion, and creative enablement.
•         The role balances vision with pragmatism, leads through influence rather than hands-on execution, and brings clarity to complex, global creative ecosystems.
•         Accountable for creative quality, consistency, and performance across regions and channels, this role focuses on direction, governance, and orchestration—aligning diverse, distributed teams around a shared creative standard.
Responsibilities:
•         Set the creative vision, standards, and success criteria across all major creative disciplines
•         Act as the primary decision-maker for creative direction, quality, and prioritization within assigned initiatives, escalating only where enterprise alignment is required
•         Establish and maintain creative governance models that define decision rights, escalation paths, and quality standards across regions and teams
•         Lead on-shore and off-shore creative teams by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring consistent quality
•         Provide leadership, coaching, and development for creative managers and leads, contributing to succession planning and long-term capability growth
•         Partner closely with Corporate Brand leaders to align creative priorities, workflows, and expectations
•         Serve as a senior creative advisor to marketing and business leaders, advocating for creative excellence while balancing business priorities
•         Partner with stakeholders to shape creative demand, prioritize initiatives, and ensure briefs are strategic, clear, and aligned to capacity and impact
•         Translate brand and business strategy into clear creative frameworks, briefs, and guidance for teams and partners
•         Ensure cohesion across creative disciplines by aligning campaign, sales, event, motion, and enablement work into a unified creative experience
•         Lead integrated campaign creative development by guiding concept development, reviewing work for effectiveness, and applying learnings to continuously elevate performance
•         Review and approve creative work to ensure it meets brand, accessibility, and quality standards
•         Oversee the creative lifecycle from intake through delivery, optimization, and reuse to support scalable, efficient creative operations
•         Oversee agency and vendor relationships, ensuring output is on-strategy, on-brand, and delivered to a high standard
•         Champion scalable creative systems, templates, and enablement models that support global consistency
•         Drive innovation across creative workflows, including adoption of new tools, AI-enabled processes, and improved ways of working
•         Lead teams through change by introducing new processes, tools, and approaches that improve creative quality and efficiency
•         Balance creative ambition with operational realities, timelines, and available resources
Qualifications:
·       6+ years of experience as a Creative or Associate Creative Director
·       Experience working on a large corporate visual identity or design team or at a major creative agency
·       Experience supporting large financial services, pharma, healthcare, or other regulated companies
·       Strong experience working across modern channels and campaigns including social media, TV, Out of Home, website, and PPC/Paid advertising
·       Ability to be a creative strategist, perform hands-on design and writing, and act as a creative stakeholder & project manager
·       Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, and PM tools like Clickup or Asana to perform hands-on design
