Creative Resource Manager
Position Summary
The Creative Resource Manager is responsible for optimizing the allocation, utilization, and workflow of creative team resources across multiple projects and priorities. This role serves as the central point of coordination between creative, account, project management, and leadership teams to ensure projects are staffed appropriately, timelines are achievable, and creative talent is deployed effectively.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of creative operations, project lifecycles, capacity planning, and team dynamics.
This role will report into the Director, Resource Management and work directly inside the creative team.
Responsibilities
Resource Planning & Allocation
  • Manage day-to-day and long-term resource allocation across creative disciplines, including design, copywriting, UX, video, production, and other creative functions.
  • Balance workloads to maximize team utilization while supporting employee development and wellbeing.
  • Partner with creative leads to forecast resource needs and identify capacity gaps or staffing constraints.
  • Recommend solutions for resource shortages, shifting priorities, and workload conflicts.

Workflow Management
  • Monitor project pipelines and ensure resources are aligned with project scope, timelines, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and account teams to evaluate new work requests and staffing requirements.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions when competing deadlines or resource conflicts arise.
  • Maintain visibility into project status, team bandwidth, and upcoming demand.

Team Collaboration
  • Serve as a trusted partner to creative leadership, project management, operations, and account teams.
  • Help maintain a positive team culture by promoting equitable workload distribution and sustainable work practices.

Qualifications
Required
  • 3-7+ years of experience in resource management, project management, creative operations, or agency operations.
  • Experience supporting creative, marketing, or digital teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred
  • Experience in an advertising agency, marketing agency, healthcare communications agency, or in-house creative department.
  • Understanding of creative workflows, production timelines, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Experience with capacity planning, utilization tracking, and workforce forecasting.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
BGBx is headquartered in New York City, and the salary range listed reflects the expected base compensation for this role in the New York City metropolitan area. This position may be performed remotely within the United States. For candidates located outside the New York City area, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the applicable market for the employee's primary work location. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
