Job description

Meta Infrastructure Business Operations (Infrastructure Business Operations) is seeking an experienced Regional Logistics Operations Specialist to focus on end-to-end lifecycle of our Data Center support and structure of operations and execution to include support of Point of Presence, Warehouse & Distribution operational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with all logistics site leadership in their region as well as supporting global efforts to oversee regional Data Centers’ organizational operations to ensure execution is developed and implemented consistently and efficiently. In addition to leveraging past experience and insights, the candidate should quickly be comfortable to understand complexities of Infrastructure Business Operations, processes, and tools and possess the ability to proactively identify important problems to address. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills; a natural orientation to data analytics; project management; process optimization and organization structure; and deep understanding of logistics processes and systems for internal and external alignment of Infrastructure Business Operations programs and projects.
Regional Logistics Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Possess technical and operational logistics knowledge with understanding of the life cycle of data center logistics or supply chain operations and execution, as well as related tools and systems
  • Ability to holistically assess a complex set of internal IBOS systems and tools
  • Ability to utilize data analytics to drive improvements and monitor success across the region
  • Ability to integrate cross-functional team tools and contribute to a holistic roadmap
  • Articulate and lead technical discussions across the region and be a subject matter expert with strategic influence and implications
  • Support requirements and drives development of aggressive roadmaps to meet the needs of the team, and partner teams
  • Handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously while keeping regional leaders informed about their progress
  • Operate in a rapidly evolving, often ambiguous environment, the ability to process new information and re-prioritize as needed
  • Work directly with leaders and teams to help guide and influence complex logistics networks and operations for the regional teams, with a global impact in mind
  • Partner closely with upstream teams on compliance, regulatory, and policy requirements to ensure that we minimize risk while scaling our operations
  • Follow current trends, their impact on business strategies, and their implications for creating sustainable and scalable operations models
  • 30% of travel is required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and relationship skills, creative problem-solving, attention to detail, interpersonal skills
  • Experience in handling project management responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting)
  • Experience in identifying process gaps, engineers processes and distributes across regional data center campuses
  • Experience with Oracle/ERP systems, MS Office suite, WMS, TMS, and supply chain tools
  • Experience in SOX compliance
  • B.S. or M.S. in Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain
