Job description

Description
Position at Conair LLC
About the Role
The Ecommerce Content Operations Manager owns and scales Salsify as the centralized source of truth for all product content, digital assets, attributes, and retailer syndication across the ecommerce ecosystem - in partnership with IT. This is a strategic, cross-functional role at the intersection of content, technology, and retail operations, responsible for building the infrastructure that powers accurate, consistent product experiences across all retail channels.
You'll lead a lean team (currently one Content Operations Coordinator) with real runway to grow as the function scales. While the immediate priority is standing up Salsify as a stable, scalable foundation, this role is designed to evolve. Once the core infrastructure is in place, you become a key driver of ecommerce growth - identifying, vetting, and implementing the next generation of content and commerce tools, building tighter processes around them, and translating operational maturity into measurable outcomes: faster speed to market, a consistent and accurate brand experience across every product detail page, and content that converts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Governance
  • Own the overall content operations strategy, governance framework, and ecosystem architecture for Salsify and connected platform

  • Establish and enforce standards for product copy, imagery, video, and attribute data across all retail channels

  • Maintain syndication accuracy, content consistency, and platform health across the ecommerce ecosystem

Retailer Syndication
  • Stand up and maintain retailer syndication channels and channel mappings within Salsify

  • Oversee retailer syndication strategy and ongoing platform optimization

  • Work with the Content Operations Coordinator to troubleshoot syndication issues and ensure timely resolution

Content Compliance & Quality
  • Own the content compliance framework - defining what "best-in-class" looks like across retailer PDPs and establishing the standards against which live content is measured.

  • Oversee a regular content audit cadence across key retailer sites (Amazon, Target, Walmart, Kohl's, etc.) to verify that current, approved content is accurately reflected at the shelf.
  • Direct the Content Operations Coordinator in day-to-day compliance tracking - monitoring content scores, flagging gaps or outdated content, and managing the remediation queue.

  • Leverage tools such as Profitero to monitor content health, track compliance scores, and surface actionable insights that drive continuous improvement across the product catalog.

Technology & Innovation
  • Continuously scan the ecommerce technology landscape to identify tools and platforms that can improve content quality, speed, or scale - then lead the evaluation, business case, and implementation

  • Build scalable processes around every new tool or integration - ensuring adoption, consistency, and measurable ROI across the team

  • Drive automation and operational efficiencies that reduce manual effort and accelerate time to market for product content across all retail channels

  • Build and manage below-the-fold enhanced content modules within Salsify, with a focus on more engaging and consistent PDP experiences at scale

  • Partner closely with IT on platform integrations, data flows, and technical governance

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally with brand, product, creative, digital merchandising, and IT teams to scale and future-proof content operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all Salsify-related needs across the organization

  • Lead and mentor the Content Operations Coordinator, providing direction on day-to-day workflows and priorities

What You Bring
  • 4-7 years of experience in ecommerce content operations, digital merchandising, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience with a PIM or DAM platform - Salsify experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of retailer syndication, content channel mapping, and platform integrations (Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to build and govern scalable content processes and workflows

  • Experience evaluating and implementing technology tools in an ecommerce environment

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable working with both technical (IT) and non-technical (brand, creative) stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Vendor Central, Bynder, or similar DAM/content platforms

  • Familiarity with genAI tools applied to content creation or localization

  • Background in CPG or a multi-retailer brand environment

What Success Looks Like
  • Salsify is the single, reliable source of truth for all product content across the organization

  • Retailer syndication channels are stable, accurate, and consistently optimized

  • New tools and platforms are proactively identified, evaluated, and integrated - with clear processes built around each to ensure consistency and scale

  • Content reaches retail sites faster, with fewer manual steps and a shorter gap between creation and publication

  • Product detail pages across Amazon and key retail.com partners reflect a consistent, accurate, on-brand experience - at scale

  • Content compliance is monitored consistently - with the Coordinator running the day-to-day tracking and the Manager ensuring gaps are prioritized and resolved before they impact the shopper experience

  • Content operations is recognized as a growth engine - directly contributing to conversion, sales velocity, and brand equity across the ecommerce ecosystem

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision plans
  • Generous Paid Time Off Programs
  • Life & Disability Insurance
  • FSA/HSA/Dependent Care FSA
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • 401k and company match
