Creative Project Manager
Position Overview
Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is a leader in flooring and other surface solutions designed for residential housing, commercial spaces and outdoor environments. Leveraging strengths in design, innovation and operational excellence, the company takes a people-centered, customer-focused, and growth-minded approach to meet diverse market needs. It creates differentiated customer experiences through its expansive portfolio of brands: Anderson Tuftex, COREtec, Shaw Floors, Patcraft, Philadelphia Commercial, Shaw Contract, Shaw Sports Turf, Shawgrass, Southwest Greens, Watershed Geo and more. Headquartered in Dalton, Georgia, Shaw is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. with more than $5 billion in annual sales and approximately 18,000 associates worldwide.
The Creative Project Manager manages the creative content workflow for non-NPI marketing collateral and creative marketing projects across all brands and channels - Shaw Floors, Philadelphia Commercial, COREtec, and Anderson Tuftex. Reporting to the Creative Operations Leader, this role is the central place that moves creative projects from intake through delivery, ensuring seamless coordination between creative, brand, and marketing partners and optimizing the use of marketing technology. A critical part of the role is safeguarding the front door of the creative process: the Creative Project Manager confirms that every project begins with a complete, approved creative brief and does not hesitate to push back to project owners when the required information is missing or incorrect. This position is designed for someone who is proficient in Workfront, familiar with creative marketing projects, and passionate about process-driven, continuous-improvement-minded workflow. This position works from our Dalton, GA office a minimum of 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Confirm a complete creative brief before work begins. Verify that every project is submitted with a complete, approved creative brief and that all required information is present before it enters the queue.
  • Push back to project owners when briefs are incomplete. Hold projects at intake and return them to the project owner when a brief is unclear, incomplete, or missing required details - ensuring creative work does not begin until the brief is right.
  • Manage the end-to-end creative workflow for non-NPI marketing collateral across all brands, including new project request intake, distributing work to creative resources, and maintaining project status within Workfront.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to the creative operations team by building strong relationships, understanding team capacity and skill sets, and helping allocate work in a way that supports business priorities, balanced workloads, and high-quality creative output.
  • Partner with the creative, brand, and marketing teams to understand business requirements and prioritize projects.
  • Build and maintain project timelines, monitor capacity, and keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and changes.
  • Act as a resource for brand and marketing managers to implement and manage creative workflow within Workfront.
  • Build and report monthly on creative and customer marketing performance metrics.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on Workfront - setting up templates, sharing best practices with brand and marketing teams, and recommending system updates to improve automation and integration.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field [or equivalent experience].
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a creative, marketing, or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Workfront (building templates, managing requests, and reporting) is required.
  • Familiarity with creative marketing projects and the creative production process.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of managing and delivering projects.
  • Comfort setting expectations and respectfully holding partners accountable to process and brief requirements.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Competencies:
  • Deliver Compelling Communication
  • Demonstrate Good Judgement
  • Build Trusting Relationships
  • Coach and Support
  • Adapt and Change

Shaw benefits include:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and disability coverage
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Employee assistance program
  • Health savings account
  • Paid Time Off
  • Parental Leave
  • 401K and Retirement Plans
  • Product discounts for employees
