ROLE OVERVIEW

Fashion Nova is seeking a stellar Assistant Merchandise Planner to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will be a critical driver of our growth initiatives, striking the perfect balance between independent ownership of product categories and seamless team collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings proven e-commerce planning experience within the fashion industry, sharp analytical skills, and a knack for creative problem-solving. If you thrive in a high-velocity environment that changes daily and love turning data into actionable strategy, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Buying and E-Commerce Site Merchandising to link financial results to daily/weekly performance.

  • Inventory Management: Review receipt flows and aged inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, maximizing sales while minimizing liabilities.

  • Promotional Strategy: Execute best practices for promotions, markdowns, and clearance strategies to optimize margin and sell-through.

  • Process Alignment: Align Buying and Merchandising strategies with overall e-commerce business plans, identifying custom reporting needs and process improvements.

  • Data & IT Integration: Partner with Applications and IT teams to build, deliver, and refine custom business reporting tools.

  • Team Support: Provide comprehensive operational and analytical support to the broader Planning team.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience: 1+ years of dedicated experience as an E-Commerce Planner (Required).

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Domain Expertise: Proven experience across Inventory Control, Allocation, Merchandising, Demand Forecasting, and Financial Planning/Analysis.

  • Education: BA/BS degree preferred.

  • Mindset: A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Communication: Strong English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • English, additional language(s) an advantage 

  • Schedule of this position: Monday - Friday | Core business hours | Onsite in Beverly Hills
