Assistant Director, Digital Media & Executive Producer
Job Description:
The Assistant Director, Digital Media & Executive Producer leads the planning and execution of digital media content and live event experiences supporting CEO Communications. This role serves as the senior individual contributor responsible for shaping strategic recommendations, translating business goals into compelling digital media and live experiences, and guiding projects from intake through delivery with accountability for quality, consistency, speed, and alignment with company strategy.
The role combines strategic consultation, creative leadership, video production expertise, and event production management to execute engaging, scalable, and audience-focused content and experiences – all aligned to brand standards. This position also helps establish team standards, improve workflows, and expand in-house capabilities through repeatable production models, and emerging technologies.
Job Duties:
Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of digital media content and live event experiences supporting CEO Communications, including creative concepting, scripting, filming, editing, motion graphics, event production planning, show calling, stakeholder management, and final delivery while ensuring alignment to business objectives, audience needs, brand standards, accessibility requirements, and channel considerations.
Partner directly with business leaders, CEO Communications, Marketing partners, Creative Directors, and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into strategic recommendations for digital media and events, aligning stakeholders around creative approaches and delivering integrated solutions that achieve communication and employee engagement goals.
Serve as lead producer for internal and off-site events of varying complexity, responsible for production planning, run-of-show development, technical coordination, speaker preparation, audiovisual execution, webcast production, and vendor management to ensure seamless event delivery and positive audience experiences.
Travel as needed to manage on-site event and video production activities, independently directing production logistics, coordinating technical crews and vendors, operating production equipment when appropriate, and resolving real-time challenges while maintaining high standards of execution.
Develop and create content and events aligned to business objectives, messaging frameworks, audience insights, and brand standards. Present recommendations to stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
Lead video productions and events for the CEO, providing consultation on audience engagement, presentation delivery, visual storytelling, and production approaches that support leadership communications.
Optimize content and event effectiveness through performance insights, audience feedback, engagement data, and stakeholder learnings, translating results into recommendations that improve future creative approaches, production models, and audience experiences.
Improve scalable production capabilities through emerging technologies and repeatable workflows, including AI-enabled creative tools, production automation, event technologies, and Adobe ecosystem capabilities to accelerate timelines, improve consistency, enhance audience engagement, and reduce external vendor dependency.
Contribute to operational excellence by developing standards, templates, production processes, and governance models that improve quality, efficiency, resource management, and consistency across digital media and event productions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to lead the full lifecycle of multimedia content and event experiences from strategic consultation and concept development through production, post-production, live execution, and final delivery.
- Ability to work directly with executive leaders, lines of business, communications partners, and marketing stakeholders to clarify objectives, influence decisions, and translate priorities into effective content and event solutions.
- Ability to independently lead video productions from concept development through filming, editing, motion graphics, audio enhancement, captioning, and channel-specific delivery.
- Ability to independently manage complex event productions, including run-of-show development, speaker management, technical production planning & execution, audiovisual coordination, webcast production, and vendor oversight.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles and audience engagement strategies across digital channels, executive communications, and live experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality graphic design assets using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, for print, digital, presentation, and event-related communications.
- Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to design executive-level presentations that communicate complex concepts through compelling visual storytelling, information design, and audience-focused presentation principles.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously while managing production schedules, budgets, vendors, stakeholders, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of emerging production technologies, AI-enabled creative tools, virtual and hybrid event platforms, and scalable workflow solutions that improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate strategic recommendations, production approaches, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
