About the Role

Covercraft is seeking a Creative Director to lead creative strategy, brand execution, ecommerce experience, and digital design across our portfolio of enthusiast-driven brands, including Covercraft, Lloyd Mats, and Boat Covers Direct.

This role is responsible for overseeing the visual presentation and customer experience of our brands across ecommerce, digital marketing, merchandising, product launches, and sales support initiatives. The Creative Director will lead a small internal creative team, helping balance strong brand storytelling with performance-focused ecommerce execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can provide high-level strategic direction while also helping manage execution, workflows, priorities, and creative quality across multiple brands and channels.

The ideal candidate understands how to build compelling digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion while also accurately representing products, materials, fitment, and craftsmanship. This role will work closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Product Development, and B2B Sales teams to support both direct-to-consumer growth and wholesale/dealer initiatives.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead creative strategy and visual direction across multiple ecommerce and enthusiast brands
  • Manage and mentor a team consisting of 3-4 designers
  • Oversee creative workflows, project prioritization, and production planning through Jira or similar project management systems
  • Ensure brand consistency and creative quality across all customer and dealer touchpoints
  • Own the visual execution and creative support for:
  • Ecommerce websites and landing pages
  • UX/UI direction and customer experience
  • Email templates and lifecycle marketing
  • Paid social and display advertising
  • Homepage banners and promotional campaigns
  • Product merchandising and storytelling
  • Video and motion creative
  • Photography direction and asset planning
  • Social media creative
  • Seasonal campaigns and national promotional calendars
  • Help manage and evolve the annual promotional and merchandising calendar across brands
  • Partner closely with Product Development teams to support new product launches and product positioning
  • Translate technical product features and fitment information into clear, compelling customer-facing creative
  • Support B2B Sales teams through dealer-facing creative, presentations, launch materials, merchandising assets, and sales collateral
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce and Merchandising teams to improve product discovery, navigation, filtering, merchandising, and onsite customer experience
  • Ensure products are represented in an exciting, authentic, and technically accurate way
  • Review and approve creative work for quality, accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment
  • Help improve creative operations, production efficiency, and asset organization
  • Occasionally support print advertising, packaging, trade show materials, and sales support initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of creative leadership experience, preferably within ecommerce, consumer products, enthusiast brands, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both brand development and performance-focused digital creative
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce UX/UI best practices and customer journey optimization
  • Experience managing and mentoring creative teams in fast-paced, multi-brand environments
  • Strong understanding of:
