Overview of the job

We are seeking a Director of Creative Strategy to help lead our Creative Strategy team. This role is responsible for delivering best-in-class creative work informed by deep category insight, consumer trends, and social-first storytelling. The ideal candidate has experience at Director level, ready to step into an agency leadership role and take ownership of the creative strategy practice. You thrive on building, creating, and evolving the ever-changing creator ecosystem - and continue to push Influencer as a leader in the space.

  • Drive new business opportunities by shaping pitches, leading workshops, and presenting thought leadership to prospective clients
  • Serve as a senior client partner, cultivating C‑suite and senior marketing relationships that extend beyond campaign delivery
  • Oversee the integration of cultural insights, category intelligence, and consumer trends into agency outputs to future‑proof creative work
  • Champion innovation in the creator economy, ensuring the agency stays ahead of platform shifts, social storytelling formats, and influencer trends
  • Represent Influencer at industry events, conferences, and IAT meetings to raise visibility of our strategic expertise
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, measurement, and creative leads to connect strategy seamlessly to execution and business outcomes
What you will need:
  • Minimum of 9 years experience in a creative strategy or brand strategy role within an agency or related environment, with at least 3 years of management experience
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on influencer marketing experience with proven knowledge of the creator economy
  • Deep understanding of the agency revenue model (retainers, project‑based fees, scopes of work, margins) and ability to connect creative strategy to commercial growth
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering socially‑led branded content campaigns across platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snap, YouTube)
  • Experience building, designing, and leading persuasive client decks and presentations
  • Proven ability to distil complex client challenges into clear, insight‑driven influencer briefs
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time‑management skills
  • Comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior stakeholders (internal leadership, client CMOs, and IAT partners)
  • Adept at balancing competing priorities and managing team bandwidth against client demands
  • High‑energy, results‑driven leader with both short‑term problem‑solving skills and long‑term vision for growth
  • Collaborative and empathetic, able to partner effectively across functions while fostering team development
