Job description

Job title: Child Welfare Trainer/Content Dev
Location: Research Triangle Park, Durham, NC 27709
Position: Hybrid
Duration: Long Term
Requires the services of a trainer/content developer to support training implementation of Child Welfare System (CWS) modules.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Extensive statewide travel up to 75% of the time is required in the performance of the work for this position. Travel may include some evenings and weekend days.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks contract resources to assist with the training and implementation of the statewide Child Welfare system (CWS). The purpose for this Training Developer is to design and develop practical training and course materials, as well as provide effective and creative classroom and virtual facilitation of training for employees who administer Child Welfare related programs. This position will work closely with the Training Lead, Applications Lead, Development & Testing teams, and subject matter experts.
Minimum requirements include: Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining Captivate, Camtasia, and Word templates, scripts, and PowerPoint, as well as revising training materials for instruction of adult learners.
Preferred skills: SharePoint, JIRA
