The Commercial Estimator will work closely with the CEO, other estimators, and the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have Accubid and Bluebeam bidding software experience, as well as proven successful experience in bidding large commercial projects.

Requirements

  • Stable work history, with 6 or more Years of Commercial Electrical Industry and 2 Years of Estimating Experience.
  • You must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to our office in Lakeland, FL.
  • Respectful Communication and a Team Player attitude is non-negotiable.
  • You must be able to pass a background and drug test prior to starting working.


Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a positive work attitude and agreeable/friendly demeanor.
  • Consistent and respectful, productive, and beneficial communication with our team, our clients, our subcontractors and our GC's, while building and maintaining rapport with all interactions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to complete documentation on company portals, using various software.
  • Strong NEC and Florida Building codes knowledge. 
  • Technologically savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, and Trimble Accubid and Bluebeam, with the ability to learn new software as needed. Procore and Redteam experience a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple proposals at a time.
  • Ability to review project documents, drawings, wiring diagrams, instructional manuals, specifications, and blueprints to identify scope changes.
