Overview
Influential is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Creative Strategy to lead creative ideation and oversee the production of dynamic campaigns for a high-profile portfolio of beauty and skincare brands. The ideal candidate will blend client objectives with insight-driven creativity, crafting impactful concepts that breathe life into creator campaigns. Fueled by a deep passion for the beauty industry and a proven expertise in dermatological skincare, this position orchestrates the creative strategy from ideation to execution, working closely with creators to deliver top-tier creator marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
  • Develop creative concepts that differentiate the brand and resonate with the target audience.
  • Generate innovative and strategic ideas for beauty campaigns that align with client objectives.
  • Determine the optimal media mix and social platform allocation for maximum impact.
  • Provide clear guidance to creative and creator teams, including Copywriters and Creator Management, to ensure that the creative execution aligns with the campaign's strategic vision.
  • Craft persuasive and compelling brand stories that connect with consumers on an emotional level.
  • Develop key messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the brand's value proposition.
  • Utilize consumer insights and market data to inform creative decisions and refine campaign strategies.
  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations to beauty brands that outline the strategic rationale behind campaign concepts and ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Client Solutions, Creator Management, and Strategy and Analytics to ensure creative is seamlessly translated into campaign execution.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and creative strategy.

Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years experience in creative strategy, marketing/advertising, or creator marketing.
  • You stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the social realm.
  • Comfortable navigating the nuances of developing creative ideation and strategy for beauty and skincare brands.
  • You're an insanely strong communicator with presentation skills that command attention.
  • You must have strong writing skills...because you're going to write...a lot.
  • You have an eye for design/aesthetics.
  • You have a bias for action and don't wait to improve our team's output.
  • You're comfortable creating organization and processes where none may already exist.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Startup experience is strongly preferred.
  • Extremely proficient in Google Slides and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $110,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
