We're looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on leader who's ready to help run the show while also taking our custom cake game to the next level. If you love people, ice cream, and a little frosting magicthis role is for you.

What You'll Do as Assistant Manager/Cake Specialist:

  • Assisting in managing staff schedules and monitoring team performance
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly
  • Helping to manage inventory levels and placing orders as needed
  • Supporting the development and implementation of strategies to boost sales and guest satisfaction
  • Assisting with the training, mentoring, and evaluation of staff to uphold performance and brand standards
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and employees
  • Providing operational support to meet financial goals, including budgeting and reporting
  • Design, build, and decorate custom Ben & Jerry's ice cream cakes with flair and precision
  • Manage cake orders: take customer requests, offer design suggestions, and ensure timely delivery/pick-up
  • Maintain cake inventory and prep stock cakes for display
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm fun seasonal designs and promotion
  • Ensure quality control, food safety, and cleanliness in cake production areas
  • Regularly support scoop shop operations (scooping, cleaning, customer service)
