Job description

The individual selected for this position will own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of creative technology transformation across Amazon's Reputation Marketing & Insights (RMI) team. You will move the team from early-stage experimentation to a structured, scalable product vision that delivers measurable improvements to creative production speed, cost, and quality across global markets.
In this role, you will define the product roadmap for creative technology adoption, identify high-value technology use cases, evaluate tools and vendors, navigate Legal and security requirements, and build the governance and training frameworks that allow a small creative team to operate at dramatically greater scale. You will connect RMI to broader Amazon technology initiatives while ensuring every investment translates into tangible campaign impact, not just a proof of concept.
You will partner with creative leads, producers, project managers, and a range of other internal and external stakeholders to embed technology into real workflows rather than layering it on top. Success in this role is measured by adoption, efficiency gains, and the creative team's ability to produce more high-quality work faster and with less resources.
Key job responsibilities
Reputation Marketing & Insights (RMI) is hiring a Product Manager to define the product and technology strategy for the team's creative production capability. You will own the full lifecycle of creative technology products - from use-case identification and tool evaluation through pilot management, governance, training, and scaled adoption. Product strategy, technology approach, and vendor relationships are yours to define. You will deliver independently with limited guidance.
Working with creative leads, producers, media, legal, and security teams - as well as external agency and technology partners - you will identify where manual creative processes create drag and define product solutions that scale. You will architect the systems that connect AI and automation tools to real production workflows - concept development, asset generation, versioning, localization, and post-production - to accelerate output, not merely experiment with new technology.
You will evaluate and leverage AI/ML tools, large language models, and agentic frameworks to accelerate creative workflows, improve production quality, and reduce dependency on manual processes. You will define technical requirements - including tool integrations, asset pipeline architecture, governance frameworks, and workflow automation - and articulate when a new technology is needed (and when it is not). You will manage external technology vendor partnerships end-to-end, owning the long-term build-vs-buy roadmap for which creative production capabilities remain outsourced versus built internally. You will be accountable for creative technology product quality, adoption metrics, operational efficiency, and strategic relevance.
A day in the life
You will define product strategy and own the full lifecycle for a portfolio of creative technology products - from tool evaluation through deployment of scalable production infrastructure. You'll build governance and training frameworks that determine how creative tools are adopted safely and effectively. You'll run your own workflow analyses, tracking adoption metrics and cost-per-asset benchmarks to translate findings into recommendations that improve speed and reduce production costs. You'll define the operational handoff between creative strategy and production execution systems. You'll evaluate emerging AI capabilities for automating creative workflows with internal and external partners. You'll navigate a fast-moving environment where campaign demands shift faster than annual technology roadmaps accommodate - adapting priorities on the fly.
About the team
Our team strives to identify the persuasive return on investment for every dollar we spend. We build marketing plans that persuade our core audiences through best-in-class media tactics and measurement methodology that enables us to optimize towards the principles and platforms that achieve real-world outcomes at the expense of those that don't.
Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience leading and influencing your team or organization, or experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
- Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), AI tools for development productivity, contributing to open-source projects, and/or version control systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross-functional teams
- Experience working on or with large-scale, global creative campaigns
- Experience in creative agencies or in-house creative teams (understands campaign production workflows, not just generic product management)
- Hands-on experience implementing AI/ML tools in creative or content production workflows
- Background in change management and driving technology adoption with creative professionals
- Experience with DAM systems, asset pipelines, and creative project management platforms
- Experience with explainable machine learning and artificial intelligence methodologies and tools
