Job description

Brand Marketing Manager

American Outdoor Products is hiring a Brand Marketing Manager to lead the narrative for two iconic brands: Backpacker's Pantry and Astronaut Foods. We are looking for a brand buildersomeone who can tell a gripping story about a moon landing or a mountain summit, but also build the project management systems to ensure that story reaches the right audience at the right time. You are the guardian of our brand presence, shaping the stories that define modern adventure across digital, social, and retail landscapes.

Reporting to the CEO, you will own the marketing lifecycle from concept to execution, shifting AOP from a "niche powerhouse" to a high-growth brand leader. You are the architect of our internal systems (calendars, briefs, and workflows) and the guardian of our external voice. Your mission is to spark genuine connections with our community across digital, social, and retail channels.

You will also play a key role in driving field marketing, events, and ambassador efforts, helping the brands build real presence beyond screens. While performance and results matter, this role rewards creative momentum, strong instincts, and the ability to learn and adapt as you go.
