Are you an experienced marketing professional looking for a new challenge? This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing and Customer Insights team and be a part of the Marketing center of excellence within Enbridge Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS). This role will specifically be responsible for leading marketing initiatives in GDS US jurisdictions, primarily in Utah and Ohio.

As a Sr. Advisor, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic marketing projects and communication initiatives for a variety of programs and services supporting core business objectives. You will also be responsible for developing strategy and leading end to end planning, implementation, evaluation and optimization of marketing campaigns/ initiatives that support both B2C and B2B audiences.

Here's what you will do:

  • Lead end-to-end marketing execution: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with stakeholder objectives - from understanding business needs, leveraging research and insights to execution, tracking, and continuous optimization of campaigns and initiatives.

  • Act as a strategic & trusted marketing partner: Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to understand priorities and translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Drive independent ownership and accountability: Operate with a high degree of autonomy to manage multiple projects simultaneously - setting direction, driving timelines, and ensuring seamless execution without close supervision.

  • Own operational excellence: Manage day-to-day marketing operations including budgeting, procurement, invoice processing, and contract management, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of initiatives.

  • Drive insight-led decision making: Monitor campaign performance, and leverage analytics to assess effectiveness, identify opportunities for optimization, and inform future marketing strategies.

  • Champion innovation and value creation: Proactively assess new opportunities, whether in process improvement, capability building, or cross-functional collaboration leading to new marketing initiatives, to enhance the team's impact and contribution across the organization.

  • Ensure brand consistency and quality: Oversee the development of marketing materials and campaigns to ensure alignment with brand standards, messaging, and business strategy.

  • Manage creative agency partnerships: Oversee external creative agency relationships to deliver high-quality creative, media, and digital outputs for omnichannel marketing.

  • Monitor and manage compliance requirements: Oversee all federal and state-wide regulatory audit requirements for marketing and communications activities in Utah and Ohio, ensuring full compliance with applicable standards and reporting obligations.

  • Stay ahead of industry and customer trends: Monitor emerging marketing, communications, and customer experience trends; identify, pilot, and implement new tools, channels, and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and audience engagement.

Who you are:

You have:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related programs.

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing or communications experience.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage creative agency relationships.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver results in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and deadline-driven environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in complex environments.

  • Strong attention to details in producing deliverables while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy.

  • Results-oriented problem solver with strong decision-making skills, able to blend creative instincts with data-driven analysis to develop solutions and drive impactful outcomes.

  • Structured and strategic mindset, bringing order to complexity. Ability to distill ambiguous inputs into clear frameworks, roadmaps, and priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and managing engagements with senior management.

Preferred Assets:

  • Advanced degree (Masters, MBA)

  • Strong knowledge of Enbridge Gas Inc. energy conservation programs and jurisdictional regulatory safety communication requirements is an asset.

  • Experience with the energy industry or a regulated industry.

  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and measuring successful marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment.

  • Travel required (approximately 20% of time). Most travel will be to Ontario or other US utility locations.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
