Job Type: Full-Time | Grant-Funded (24-Month Term)
Employer: Craven County Workforce Pipeline Collaborative - Eastern Carolina Workforce Development Board
Position Summary
The Project Manager leads Craven County's AttainmentNC initiative, coordinating efforts across education, workforce, business, and community partners to expand career-connected learning and workforce pathways. This role serves as a neutral convener, ensuring alignment and progress toward shared goals in postsecondary attainment and employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cross-Sector Collaboration: Convene and manage partners from K-12, higher education, employers, workforce, and community organizations
  • Implement Strategy: Develop and execute the local AttainmentNC plan, including career pathways and work-based learning programs
  • Engage Employers: Recruit and collaborate with employers to co-design pathways aligned with workforce needs
  • Build Talent Pipelines: Support outreach and success for priority and underserved populations
  • Track Performance: Monitor outcomes, manage data, and submit required reports
  • Ensure Sustainability: Develop long-term funding and expansion strategies

Qualifications
  • Experience in workforce development, education, or economic development
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to lead partnerships and engage stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Familiarity with North Carolina systems preferred
