Personal Injury Trial Attorney

The Crash Team โ€“ The Galvan Law Firm, Sugar Land, Texas

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Houston-based Personal Injury Trial Attorney who can build strong cases, connect with clients, and win. Join a team backed by an experienced support staff and a culture that emphasizes collaboration and client outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution (trial or settlement).
  • Try cases in court and participate in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Advise clients, consult with experts, and build case strategy early.
  • Review expert reports and manage case timelines and deadlines with support staff.
  • Communicate directly with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery, motions, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
  • Be a skilled negotiator and adept at depositions.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of personal injury commercial litigation experience (required; defense attorneys welcome).
  • Trial experience and strong drafting, research, negotiation, and client communication skills.
  • Reside in the Greater Houston area. This is not a remote position.
  • Active Texas Bar license in good standing; graduated from an accredited law school.
  • Deep knowledge of personal injury law, civil litigation, and commercial cases; collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $500,000โ€“$1,000,000+ per year
  • PTO: 4 weeks paid time off after 90 days plus paid sick time
  • Work model: In-office with a hybrid option (2 days remote per week after 90 days); Houston-based
