InCord has an opening for a detailed-oriented Craft Worker. As Craft Worker, you'll be on the frontline of our team, working on projects that allow them to see the fruit of your labor. A Craft Worker creates hand-made custom safety netting solutions for sale and exhibition using a variety of techniques, in multiple departments across multiple divisions, including: Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Cargo, Personnel Safety Nets (PSN/RSN), Rolled Goods, Webnets, Netform, Quality Control/Packaging. These solutions for customers save lives and property, as well as add enjoyment and fulfillment to society at large. The craft workers job as a textile craftsman allows them to innovate processes for our company, learn valuable, hands on skills, while working on projects that allow them to see the fruit of their labor; they are the artists of InCord.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks of a physical and repetitive nature. Includes but not limited to standing, sitting, pulling, lifting, kneeling.
  • Accurately measure and cut nets and rope for custom safety netting solutions.
  • Standard Sewing on multiple machines.
  • Rope work: measure, weave, splice, hog ring, lash, hang, join.
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer requirements
  • Ability and comfort working with pneumatic tools.
  • Able to properly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Be flexible and prepared to have work reassigned in all departments.
  • Follow InCord's rules, regulation and safety requirements; coming to work on time and giving their all
  • Follow the InCord C.R.E.A.T.E.S. principles

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High school diploma
  • Good organizational skills
  • An ability to work independently and as a team
  • Valid driver's license

Working Conditions:

  • Full Time, 40 Hour Week / 5 Days in Colchester Offices, occasionally weekends are required
