Craft Beverage Sales Representative - Your Hustle, Your Reward!


Are you a self-starter with a passion for craft beer, wine and other beverages and the drive to build your own success?

Join Cavalier Distributing and become a key player in bringing the best craft beer and specialty beverages to the market. This isn't a desk job-it's an opportunity to own your territory, build relationships, and directly control your earnings.


This is an outside sales position where you will spend 40 hours per week out in your assigned territory, working independently to achieve your goals. You are the face of Cavalier, responsible for successful sales, distribution, and placement of our diverse product portfolio across new and existing retail accounts.

What you'll do:

  • Build Your Book: Manage and grow your relationship with existing accounts while also proactively developing new business and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Hit the Road: Enjoy the freedom of managing your own day, regularly visiting accounts, and becoming the trusted authority on craft beverages in your area.
  • Sell What You Love: Focus on selling and expanding our product lines, ensuring all Cavalier products are successfully placed and maintained.
  • Be the Expert: Host exciting beer tastings, dinners, and promotions to drive enthusiasm and sales.
  • Manage Your Territory: Handle all aspects of the sales cycle, from preparing quotes and executing monthly goals to ensuring excellent customer service and timely collections.
  • Support the Brand: Pitch in with seasonal product displays, store resets, and represent Cavalier at special events and festivals (occasional evenings/weekends required).

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of the craft beer and beverage industry.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Valid, unexpired driver's license and a clean DMV record with reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to apply for and obtain a solicitor's license with the state.
  • Ability to handle product generally weighing 0 - 55 pounds, including bending and stooping as needed for product rotation and merchandising.
